SEATTLE, Wash. - Perlin Thomas "Tommy" LaBarge, 64, Seattle, formerly of Williston, died Monday, March 21, 1983, at Northwest Hospital, Seattle.
Prayer services and a Mass were held in Seattle. A rosary was said at 8 p.m. Friday in the Everson Funeral Home, Williston. Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Saturday at Riverview Cemetery, Williston. The Rev. Raymond A. Aydt officiated.
Mr. LaBarge was born July 31, 1918, in Williston to Perlin C. and Mary LaBarge. He received his education in the Williston area.
He married Myrtle Casey on Sept. 28, 1940, in Williston. He worked at Crighton Motors in Williston until moving to Seattle in 1950 where he worked as an auto body man for many years. He was a veteran of World War II.
He was a member of the Williston American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars, and a charter member of St. Matthews Catholic Church, Seattle.
He is survived by his wife, Myrtle, of Seattle; a son, Gerald P., of Seattle; three daughters, Mrs. George (Corrinne) Desjarlais, of Post Falls, Idaho; Margaret J. Peele, of Hydaburg, Alaska, and Mrs. Michael (Mary) Jones, of Seattle; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; and two sisters, Luella Doherty, of Seattle, and Helen Curran, of Lynnwood, Wash.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son and two sisters.
