LEEDS -- Adelard T. (Tony) LaBarge, 68, of 126 Hermit St. Philadelphia, Pa., died yesterday in the Hampshire County Hospital after a long illness.
He was born in Leeds, March 5, 1909, the son of the late Anthony and Evelina (Mosse) LaBarge and was educated in Leeds schools. He moved to Philadelphia 50 years ago and was employed as an iron molder for the Cyclone Fence Co. for may years. He was a member of Local Ironworker's No. 401 there.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Carrigan LaBarge; two sons, Thomas S. LaBarge and Anthony P. LaBarge, both of Philadelphia; two daughters, Mrs. Robert Wazalis and Elizabeth Fay Farabella, both of Leeds; four sisters, Fay Tessier, Bertha McClellan and Rose O'Brien, all of Leeds, and Helene Provencial, of Hillside, N.J.; 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Monday at 9:30 a.m. from the Edmund B. Mitchell & Son funeral Home in Easthampton. A liturgy of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Catherine's Church, Leeds, at 10 a.m.
The burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
