LEEDS -- Wilfred Labarge, 73, husband of Anna (Thouin) Labarge, of Water St., died Wednesday in Farren Memorial Hospital.
He was born Feb. 20, 1898, son of Anthony and Evelina (Masse) Labarge and for many years was employed as a custodian at the Hampton Mills in Easthampton before his retirement. He was a member of the Leeds Fife and Drum Corps.
Besides his widow his is survived by three sons, Lionel of Boston, Leon of Bathleham (sic), Penn., and Ernest of Jacksonville, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Godin of Northampton; a brother, Adelard of Philadelphia, Penn.; and five sisters, Mrs. Eva Morin of Easthampton, Mrs. Fay Tessier of Willimansett, Mrs. Halen (sic) Provincal of Newark, N.J., and Mrs. Bertha McClellan and Mrs. Rose O'Brien of Leeds; 12 grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Friday at 8:15 from the George F. Reynolds Funeral Home with a liturgy of Christian burial in St. Catherine's Church at 9.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Leeds.
Calling hours will be this evening from 7 to 9.
